Electrical Service Technician (Electrical / Mechanical)

Job Ref: GEL/062/016

Job Purpose: To work in our electrical maintenance department 

Job Responsibilities

• Responding to power failures in various sites
• Troubleshooting and repair of power equipment
• Carrying out preventative maintenance   on electrical installations including generators
• Ensuring that all electrical systems are properly maintained and operating correctly
• Completes service repairs, replacements, upgrades, adjustments and calibration on all electrical systems
• Daily correspondence to the office on the status of all power systems in various sites 

Qualifications 

• Diploma or certificate   in Electrical and/or Electronic Engineering or related field
• At least 3 years experience as a technician in electrical maintenance
• Very strong analytical and troubleshooting skills of electrical & mechanical systems
• Good knowledge of generators
• Ability to read/understand Electrical drawings and schematics
